Fruit and Vegetable Processing and Preparation

The PATENT REGISTERED NATRApHASE® Range of Processing Aids are designed to extend the Shelf Life of Fresh Cut Fruit, Fruit Salads, Fruit Juices and Fresh Cut Vegetable, Vegetable Juices.

The Product Range of Process Aids is made up of:

(1) NATRApHASE® ABAF: an Anti-Browning Process Aid for processed fruit.

(2)  NATRApHASE® ABAF-SA 100: an Anti-Browning Process Aid for processed mixed fruit salads.

(3) NATRApHASE® ABFL 300: an Anti-Browning and Anti Yeast Additive for use in Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Juices.

(4) NATRApHASE® ABS 600: an Anti-Browning and Anti-Pinking Process Aid for Fresh Cut Lettuce Salads, Cabbage and Spinach.

(5) NATRApHASE®  ABAV: an Anti-Browning and Anti-"After Cooking Darkening" Process Aid for root vegetables such as Potatoes (Fresh Peeled Whole Potatoes, French Fries (Fresh or Blanched) and Chips/Crisps), Carrots, Celeriac, Turnip, Parsnips, Brocolli etc.

(6) NATRApHASE® FVS: a Very Safe to Use Whole Fruit and Vegetable Decontaminant to be used prior to processing applications. Very effective against Gram+ and Gram- micro-organisms, coliforms and yeast.

NATRApHASE® Process Aids are formulated using refined and purified intermediates from natural resources providing protection of processed fruit and vegetables extending the shelf life without altering the natural organoleptic and sensory properties.




NATRApHASE® ABAF (PATENTED)

NATRApHASE® ABAF is a fine white granular powder. A blend of natural fruit acidulants, sugars and anti-oxidants which has been formulated specifically to delay browning in a wide variety of prepared sliced apples and fruit (both traditional and exotic varieties) facilitating a loger shelf life without alteration to the organoleptic and sensory properties.

NATRApHASE® ABAF-SA 100 is a white fine granular powder. A blend of natural fruit acidulants, sugars and anti-oxidants which has been formulated specifically to delay browning in a wide variety of prepared fruit salads (both traditional and exotic varieties) facilitating a longer shelf life without alteration to taste, texture, colour and aroma.

NATRApHASE® ABFL 300 (PATENT PENDING)

NATRApHASE® ABFL 300 is a white fine powder Anti-Yeast and Mould Agent. A blend of natural acidulants and anti-oxidants which has been formulated specifically to delay browning in a wide variety of prepared fruit and vegetable juices facilitating a longer shelf life without alteration to the natural organoleptic and sensory properties. NATRApHASE® ABFL 300 can be added (as per Protocol) directly to the Fruit or Vegetable Juice.

A blend of natural organic acidulants which has been formulated specifically to delay browning and pinking in lettuce salads, cabbage and spinach, facilitating a longer shelf life without alteration to the organoleptic and sensory properties.

NATRApHASE® ABAV is a fine white granular powder, specifically formulated using natural acidulants and vitamins to delay browning and “After Cooking Darkening” in potatoes, turnips, parsnips, celeriac and "White Blush" in carrots enabling a longer shelf life and protectiing the original natural organoleptic and sensory properties.

NATRApHASE® FVS (PATENTED)

NATRApHASE® FVS is a clear liquid formulated using natural acidulants and vitamins. The product is extremely effective when applied to fresh Post Harvest pre-cut fruit and vegetables with high organic/biofilm loadings. All ingredients are classified GRAS (Generally recognised as Safe) and NATURAL by the FDA. NATRApHASE® FVS can be applied via dipping, spraying and fogging.

NATRApHASE® pHCP (PATENT PENDING)

NATRApHASE® pHCP is a clear liquid formulated using natural acidulants and vitamins. The product is extremely effective Barrier System when applied to fresh Pre-Harvest potato and tomato plants with potential high organic/biofilm loadings. All ingredients are classified GRAS (Generally recognized as Safe) and NATURAL by the FDA.
